The S-760 features 12dB/oct digital filters. While not as character-rich as the analog filters on a Jupiter or a Moog, they are incredibly smooth. They allow you to sculpt pads and plucks without sounding buzzy or cheap. Combined with the R-2R output stage, even filtered white noise sounds "expensive."
