Driven by a desperate need to restore House Harkonnen’s honor, Valya encourages her brother, Griffin Harkonnen , to confront Vorian Atreides . Griffin’s subsequent death at the hands of the Atreides cements Valya’s lifelong hatred and her singular focus on the destruction of House Atreides.
