To get started, you need the driver files. You have three main options depending on your device:

Before you download any drivers, you must prepare your Android device: To get started
Windows 8.1 is no longer supported by Microsoft, so some newer Android devices may not fully work. If possible, consider upgrading to Windows 10/11 for better driver compatibility. But for most older phones and generic Android devices, the Google USB Driver works fine.
