If the router has a serial console connected to a printer (obsolete), you could:
/export file=config_backup
This creates a file named my-config-backup.rsc . mikrotik export configuration
/export compact
The router will execute the commands line-by-line. Note that if you are importing a full configuration over an existing setup, it is best practice to reset the router to default configurations first to avoid conflicts. If the router has a serial console connected
