The crown jewel of this era was the launch of "My Circle." This feature allowed customers to call a select group of numbers (regardless of the network) for free. This was revolutionary at the time and put immense pressure on the major carriers to offer similar plans (leading to the eventual demise of "mobile-to-mobile" restrictions).
