Hakuba proved its resilience in 2022/23. After a rough financial period during the lockdown years, the valley came alive. The season was notable for the variety of terrain used; from the wide groomers of Cortina to the steeps of Goryu, visitors spread out across the valley's 10 resorts, preventing bottlenecks.
