John Wick: Chapter 2, commonly referred to as John Wick 2, is a 2017 American neo-noir action thriller film directed by Chad Stahelski and written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch. The film is the sequel to the 2014 film John Wick, which was a critical and commercial success. The movie continues the story of the titular character, John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves, a retired hitman who is forced back into the world of high-stakes assassinations.
