Childbirth remains a physically and emotionally intense process requiring timely medical decisions. Traditionally, physical presence of partners, doulas, and non-essential staff was standard. However, pandemic restrictions and advances in telehealth have prompted a shift toward video-based delivery support. This paper defines “pregnant video delivery” as any use of live or recorded video during the intrapartum period for clinical observation, coaching, documentation, or remote family participation.
