The concept of "seasons" derives from the Earth's axial tilt relative to its orbital plane around the Sun. While the physical changes in weather and daylight are universal, the calendar assignment of these changes into specific months is a human construct. Consequently, the question "what are the seasons months" requires distinguishing between two primary systems of classification: the astronomical calendar and the meteorological calendar.
