Jibreel Dua

This is the most well-known and rigorously authenticated Jibreel Dua . Recorded in Sahih Muslim and other primary text traditions, it was spoken by Jibreel when he visited the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), who was suffering from severe discomfort. Arabic Text

The Dua of Jibreel derives its gravitas from its celestial origin. If there is a critique to be made, it is not of the Dua itself, but of how it is sometimes treated. In some cultural contexts, it is recited as a talisman without contemplation.
