Cisco Packet Tracer Filehippo Review
You are giving a third-party site permission to run an executable on your PC. Is that worth saving 90 seconds of creating a free Cisco account?
Cisco updates Packet Tracer frequently to fix bugs and add new protocols (e.g., OSPFv3, NAT64). The official version updates itself seamlessly. A FileHippo version is a static, outdated snapshot. Worse, when you encounter a problem (and you will—Packet Tracer has bugs), the official Cisco forums and Reddit communities will ask, “Did you download it from Cisco?” The moment you say “FileHippo,” they will stop helping you. No one will troubleshoot a potentially compromised installer. cisco packet tracer filehippo
