To prevent automated bots from guessing passwords, Primus systems often implement lockout policies. After $n$ number of failed login attempts (usually 3 to 5), the account is temporarily suspended. This security measure, while necessary, can frustrate legitimate users who have forgotten their passwords.

Future iterations may integrate directly with device biometrics (FaceID, TouchID). Instead of typing a password, a student would simply scan their fingerprint or face to access the LMS. This would drastically reduce the "forgot password" support ticket volume and increase security, as biometrics are difficult to phish.
