Saniflo Toilet Problems ^hot^ Guide
A Saniflo unit contains a macerator (a blade system) that grinds waste and toilet paper into a fine slurry. An integrated pump then pushes this slurry through a small-diameter (¾ to 1 inch) discharge pipe to the main soil stack. Problems arise when unsuitable materials enter the unit or when electrical/mechanical components fail.
