The Doors' fourth album, released on July 18, 1969, was a more introspective and psychedelic effort. "The Soft Parade" featured "Touch Me", "Wild Child", and the poetic "The Crystal Ship". The album reached #6 on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified Platinum.
