The proliferation of mobile devices and the increasing demand for mobile data services have put a significant strain on mobile networks. As a result, mobile network operators are facing challenges in managing congestion and ensuring a good user experience. Congestion occurs when the amount of traffic in the network exceeds its capacity, leading to packet losses, delays, and decreased network performance. To address this challenge, mobile network operators have traditionally used traffic management techniques such as traffic shaping, traffic policing, and load balancing. However, these techniques have limitations and may not be effective in managing congestion in all scenarios.

In this paper, we proposed a novel approach called Mobile Traffic Shaping and Network-Assisted Traffic Control (MTS-NATCOMM) to manage congestion in mobile networks. MTS-NATCOMM combines traffic shaping and network-assisted traffic control techniques to prioritize traffic, reduce congestion, and ensure a better user experience. Our simulation results show that MTS-NATCOMM can improve network performance and user experience. We believe that MTS-NATCOMM can be a useful tool for mobile network operators to manage congestion and ensure a good user experience. The proliferation of mobile devices and the increasing

The results of our simulation study show that MTS-NATCOMM can improve network performance and user experience. We observed a reduction in congestion and packet losses, and an improvement in throughput and delay. To address this challenge, mobile network operators have
