The story follows Gautham (Gautham Karthik) and Nithya (Rakul Preet Singh), who cross paths under unusual circumstances: they meet at the wedding of their respective ex-lovers after being dumped. Bonding over their shared heartbreak during a night of drunken revelry, they become close friends.
As their friendship evolves, Gautham realizes he has fallen for Nithya. However, just as he prepares to confess his feelings, he discovers she is engaged to someone else.
