The macOS desktop is managed by the Finder application, which provides a graphical interface for file navigation and organization. Unlike Windows, macOS does not offer a simple slider or dropdown in System Settings specifically labeled “Desktop Icon Size.” Instead, control is embedded within and, for finer granularity, a Terminal command that modifies a system parameter.
