Deep in the fiber-optic slums, "The Calarel" is a dive bar that thinks it’s a high-end brothel. The walls are made of recycled medical curtains. The lighting is deep ultraviolet and bioluminescent mold. [NYL] stands for the district: New Ylem (the post-plague zone).
