I would say to always remember to have fun. Cheerleading is a sport, but it's also a great way to make new friends and be a part of a team. Don't get discouraged if you don't pick up a skill right away – keep practicing, and you'll get there. And most importantly, be supportive of your teammates and encourage each other to be your best.
