Arabic: اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ثَارَ اللَّهِ وَ ابْنَ ثَارِهِ وَ الْوِتْرَ الْمَوْتُورَ، اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا اَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ، اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ قَدْ اَقَمْتَ الصَّلاةَ وَ اتَيْتَ الزَّكاةَ وَ اَمَرْتَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَ نَهَيْتَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ، وَ جَاهَدْتَ الْكَفَّارَ فِي اللَّهِ حَتَّى اتَاكَ الْيَقِينُ. Transliteration: Assalamu ‘alayka ya Tharallah wabna tharihi wal-witral mawtur. Assalamu ‘alayka ya Aba Abdillah. Assalamu ‘alayka ya Husayna bna Aliyyin. Ash-hadu annaka qad aqamta as-salata wa atayta az-zakata wa amarta bil-ma’rufi wa nahayta ‘anil-munkari wa jahadta al-kaffara fillahi hatta ataka al-yaqin. Translation: Peace be upon you, O vengeance of Allah and the son of His vengeance, and the wronged one. Peace be upon you, O Abu Abdillah. Peace be upon you, O Husayn son of Ali. I bear witness that you established the prayer, gave the zakat, enjoined the good, forbade the evil, and strove against the disbelievers in Allah until the inevitable came to you.

Arabic: فَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ امَّةً قَتَلَتْكَ، وَ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ امَّةً ظَلَمَتْكَ، وَ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ امَّةً سَمِعَتْ بِذلِكَ فَرَضِيَتْ بِهِ. Transliteration: Fa-la‘anallahu ummatan qatalatka, wa la‘anallahu ummatan zalamatka, wa la‘anallahu ummatan sami‘at bi-dhalika faradiyat bih.
