"Balkanbratdom" is not a nationality, an ethnicity, or a political stance. It is a state of mind. It is the deep, unspoken, and often sarcastic solidarity among the peoples of the Balkan Peninsula—Slovenes, Croats, Serbs, Bosnians, Montenegrins, Macedonians, Albanians, Bulgarians, Greeks, and Romanians (honorary members for their shared logistical chaos).
