This adapter is very old (circa 2006-2008). Sony no longer hosts drivers for it. The chipset is a Zydas ZD1211B . You can use the generic ZD1211B driver on Windows (XP/Vista/7) or Linux. For Windows 10/11, the driver is not officially compatible, but the ZD1211B driver from Airlive or Planex (e.g., GW-US54ZGL) sometimes works in compatibility mode.

It wasn't labeled "UWA-BR100 Driver," but the release notes mentioned: Support for wireless LAN adapter improved.

He went back to the official Sony Support site, bypassing the search engine noise. He typed in his specific TV model number (KDL-55HX800). There, under the "Downloads" tab, hidden among dozens of irrelevant manuals, was a firmware update file dated several years prior.

There are currently no official Sony driver downloads available for the UWA-BR100 on the Sony Support site.
