Reconnect the hose, tighten the clamp securely. Turn the power and water back on. Run a short “Rinse Only” cycle with 1 cup of white vinegar in the bottom (no detergent). Check under the sink for leaks.
Remove the lower kickplate (the plastic panel at the bottom of the dishwasher). Look underneath—you will see a hose connecting the dishwasher to the garbage disposal or sink drain pipe. cleaning dishwasher drain line

If you have a chrome cylinder sitting on your sink deck (an air gap), it can also clog. Reconnect the hose
