This paper examines the preservation of Forza Horizon 2, a popular racing game, on the Internet Archive. We analyze the challenges and opportunities of preserving a complex, online-enabled game like Forza Horizon 2, and explore the implications of this preservation effort for the gaming community, historians, and researchers.
