Windows only. The plugin is not compatible with Mac versions of Microsoft Office.
The traditional BI Publisher Desktop tool was notorious for version conflicts. If a user had Office 365 but the server was on an older patch set, the plugin would crash. The move to web-based design eliminates the need for local binary compatibility.
Locate the downloaded .exe file, right-click it, and select Run as Administrator .
