This has been one of my favorite songs for years. I contacted Rick back in 2002 about collaborating, partly because I had sung this song so many times. The recording is from Rick's Praise Classics 2 CD. - Elton, September 12, 2009

Lyrics

Lord, I lift Your name on high.
Lord, I love to sing Your praises.
I'm so glad You're in my life;
I'm so glad You came to save us.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

Lord, I lift Your name on high.
Lord, I love to sing Your praises.
I'm so glad You're in my life;
I'm so glad You came to save us.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

The actress Mary Elizabeth Ellis (who, in a famous bit of Sunny trivia, is married in real life to Charlie Day, who plays Charlie Kelly on the show).

The origins of the McPoyle prominence trace back to the episode "Charlie Has Cancer," though their menace fully crystallized in "The Gang Gets Held Hostage." It is here that the family dynamic is put on full display. The McPoyles operate with a hive-mind mentality, acting less like individuals and more like a singular, bacterial organism. Their loyalty to one another is absolute, likely born out of necessity; they are a tribe apart, forever protecting their genetic isolation from the "contamination" of the outside world. This was famously demonstrated when Liam McPoyle was denied the opportunity to marry a non-McPoyle, a tragedy that resulted in a botched wedding, a sham trial, and the family’s exodus to a dilapidated asylum.

Margaret embodies the same off-putting traits as her brothers, Liam and Ryan McPoyle, but with her own distinct flavor:

According to show lore, Margaret lost her vocal cords in 1999 due to an incident involving Royal McPoyle. The Actress Behind the Monobrow: Thesy Surface
