Madmapper File

MadMapper supports a wide array of media inputs. It allows for the playback of pre-rendered video files (QuickTime, AVI), but its true power lies in its integration with generative visuals. Through the widely adopted Syphon (macOS) and Spout (Windows) protocols, MadMapper can receive real-time video feeds from other software, such as VDMX, Resolume, or TouchDesigner. Furthermore, the inclusion of the MadMapper Material System allows users to create procedural textures—generating noise, gradients, and geometric patterns in real-time—without needing external 3D software. This reduces the file size of projects and allows for infinite visual variation.

MadMapper is built to bridge the gap between digital media and physical space. Its primary functions include: madmapper
