This is a partial list of my Hindi Karaoke collection. For most of the songs, I have the Karafun files which has synchronized lyrics. For others, I can make synchronized karafun (.kfn) files. You may write to me to request for song of your choice or add your comments at the bottom of this page. Oasis, the Manchester rock legends led by the often-clashing Gallagher brothers, defined the Britpop era with a string of chart-topping studio albums. From their meteoric rise in the early '90s to their 2009 dissolution (and 2025 reunion tour ), the band released seven studio albums that all peaked at in the United Kingdom. 1. Oasis, formed in Manchester in 1991, became a defining band of the 1990s Britpop movement. Led by the songwriting of Noel Gallagher and the volatile persona of his brother Liam Gallagher, the band released seven studio albums over 14 years. Their work is characterized by anthemic choruses, Beatlesque melodies, aggressive rock bravado, and lyrics blending working-class romanticism with swaggering arrogance. Their debut, Definitely Maybe , and their second album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? , are cornerstones of British rock history. The production by Dave Sardy is crisp and dynamic. The Importance of Being Idle is a perfect Kinks homage. Their work is characterized by anthemic choruses, Beatlesque
A bloated, cocaine-fueled behemoth. Songs stretch past 7 minutes, guitars are layered to excess, and the production is cavernously loud. Noel later disowned it, calling it “the sound of a bunch of guys on coke, not giving a fuck.” Despite the excess, core melodies remain strong.
Often overlooked but contains some of Noel’s most personal writing. Marks the end of Oasis as a cultural phenomenon and start of their “middle period.”
