Slow performance in KH2. Fix:
Before the official PC ports arrived in 2021, the standard way to play Kingdom Hearts on Windows 7 was through emulation. This remains the most stable method for older hardware.
Missing fonts or black screen. Fix: Use software mode (press F9 while playing), then switch back to hardware mode.
PCSX2 crashes on start. Fix: Install KB2670838 (Platform Update for Windows 7) – required for DirectX 11.1 support.
