The story begins when Nobita, tired of failing at everything, buys what he thinks is a robot toy from a mysterious catalog that appears in his room. To his astonishment, it turns out to be a giant, walking mecha named Zanda Claus — or “Zanda” for short. Zanda is not a toy but a combat robot from the planet Mechatopia, a world dominated by machines that have overthrown their human creators.
